I badly need some advice here please.
I seriously don't know what to choose.

a.) Condo (1 bedroom unit - preselling)
- Prisma Residence (SMDC) located in Pasig
- have to pay Php9,000.00 every month until April 2023
- After April 2023, will have to pay Php20,000.00 for 20 years or Php23,000.00 for 15 years (bank financing)

b.) Car (7 seater)
- have to pay Php160,000.00 as downpayment
- have to pay Php17,000.00 - Php 18,000.00 every month for 5 years (bank financing)

Kelangan ko ng kausap about this matter.

Sobrang adulting

I know this is an old post but I invested in Prisma, too. I think in 5 years time, you will be more than able to afford the 20-23k monthly. DMCI is also sure to do a price increase before turnover, so you can also sell your rights to the unit to someone else. I think it would make for a better investment.

Car wise, I suggest don't get anything brand new. Look for a used model that is almost brand new. You'll save half of your money. There are 2016, 2017 vios models selling for 480k (automatic) which you can still bank finance for 4 or 5 years. Better if you can afford to pay it off in 3, or pay for it all in cash. :-) Dahil hindi ako maselan sa kotse, ang binili ko 2009 na honda city automatic. Paid cash for it. Hindi pa masakit pag nagasgasan or whatever and it works perfectly fine! :-) Good luck with adulting!

I agree with Meliepie. It depends kung ano ang mas kailangan mo! If di ka makapili kasi parehas mong kailangan, isipin mo nalang rin ano ang mas kaya mong ihandle na liability.

Hello!
Depende yan kung anong need mo, condo or car? Either one will be your long-term liability. You also need to factor in additional expenses like for condo meron yan monthly dues and for car meron gas, parking fee at maintenance.
Good luck! :D
